CNH Industrial Union Contract Talks Become 'Intense'

Contract discussions between CNH Industrial and union-represented workers at the Fargo, N.D., plant were described by a union leader as "intense"" in an April 24 report from KFGO.

The current contract covers 800 hourly employees and expires Sunday, April 28. A union representative says Local 2525 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers is seeking higher pay, and health care and pension benefit improvements.

CNH Industrial's Fargo plant manufactures tractors and wheel loaders and also operates as an "R&D center."

In January 2023, striking workers at 2 CNH Industrial factories represented by UAW ratified a labor agreement and ended a strike that began in May 2022. Some UAW workers had won pay raises up to 38%.
