Agri-Trade Equipment Expo is proud to announce the seven finalists for the highly anticipated Ag Innovations Competition presented by AFSC. The competition will take place Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 3 p.m. on the Centrium Stage.
This year’s competition promises to be more exciting than ever, with the unprecedented seven finalists that will showcase cutting-edge agricultural technologies. Finalists will compete for $25,000 in prizing—including $20,000 for the winner and $5,000 for the People’s Choice Award, which will be selected live by the audience.
The 2026 Ag Innovations Finalists are:
- AgriStainless- X-Stream Hose - Agri Stainless X-Stream Hose is engineered and tested to be the longest-lasting air-seeder hose on the market. Pen ID technology helps deliver the right amount of feed to the right pen, every time.
- NEXAT– NEXAT - NEXAT is a revolutionary modular carrier vehicle that combines high-capacity seeding, crop protection and harvesting in one system - delivering massive working widths, maximum uptime and significantly lower cost per acre. Built for year-round operation and ready for autonomy, NEXAT is redefining the economics of modern farming
- Pawlutions LTD/RcFarmArm– RcFarmBOT - RcFarmBOT is a retrofit robotic control system that transforms existing tractors and farm equipment into remotely operated machines. Its model-specific modules physically operate the equipment’s existing controls without modifying the tractor, connecting to CANBUS, or altering its wiring. Using AI, an cameras, it lets one operator oversee field work from anywhere while the tractor handles guidance, implement control, and safety monitoring on its own.

- StrongBó Agri Tech Canada Ltd – StrongBó Auto Weigher - The StrongBó Auto Weigher is an automated livestock weighing system that captures accurate cattle weights, average daily gain (ADG), and individual animal performance data without the stress and labour of traditional weighing. It delivers real-time data insights that help producers improve herd performance and make more informed management decisions.
- SurePoint Ag – AutoCoupler™
The AutoCoupler™ allows sprayer operators to connect and load the sprayer without ever leaving the cab. Mounted on the Arsenal™ Spray Trailer, AutoCoupler's remote-controlled load boom couples to the sprayer with the press of a button on the ISOBUS display, enabling more efficient loading, reducing the need to manually connect the hose, and getting operators back in the field faster.
"Given the exceptional caliber of this year's submissions, our farmer-based selections committee found themselves at an impasse on several fronts, resulting in seven finalists instead of our usual number," says Craig Shaw, Ag Innovations Committee Chair. "The committee knows what it takes to succeed on the farm, and this year they simply couldn't separate the high caliber contenders. This year's finalists are tackling real challenges with real solutions, and we're excited to give attendees a firsthand look at innovations that could make a real difference."
The Ag Innovations Competition has become a cornerstone event at Agri-Trade, recognizing and rewarding technologies that drive efficiency, sustainability, and profitability for the agriculture industry.
The winners will be announced live at the conclusion of the competition on November 12.
