Heartland Auction Merges with Steffes Group

Garden City, Kan.-based Heartland Auction has merged with Steffes Group, West Fargo, N.D.

The merger will allow Steffes Group to expand its geographical presence into Kansas, the company says. The Garden City location becomes Steffes Group’s ninth permanent location, joining existing sites in North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa and Colorado.

Heartland Auction will undergo a rebranding to operate as Steffes Group, continuing operations from its current location in Garden City under the leadership of Jake Foltz, Brandon Hayzlett and Brandon Chansler.  Steffes Group’s full range of auction services, including live on-site and online auctions for farm equipment, construction equipment, transportation equipment and real estate auctions, will now be available to Heartland’s customers, Steffes Group says.

“Becoming part of the Steffes Group team provides us with additional resources that will directly benefit our customers,” says Brandon Hayzlett, one of Heartland’s owners.

From the carbon tax to capital gains, OFA worked with the Canadian Federation of Agriculture and provincial partners to push for fair, practical solutions. We saw progress on carbon tax relief and capital gains, and we continue to advocate for modernized farm tax programs at both the provincial and federal levels.
