John Deere Introduces the Frontier™ SB12F Series Front-Mount Snowblower for Compact Utility Tractors

CARY, N.C. — Expanding on its portfolio of snow removal solutions for compact utility tractors, John Deere is excited to announce the new Frontier SB12F Series Front-Mount Snowblower. Designed for customers with both large residential and commercial jobs, the SB12F Series is a heavy-duty front-mount snowblower that offers optimal durability, maneuverability and clearing capacity, helping tackle even the most intense cold-weather conditions.

"Our customers are always seeking tough and reliable solutions to clear even the most difficult snow during peak winter months," said Mark Davey, go-to-market manager, John Deere. "The new Frontier SB12F Series Snowblower pairs a tried-and-true front-mount design with cutting edge features to help clear snow in record time, keeping operators safer and more productive all season long."

The heavy-duty front-mount design of the SB12F Series snowblower helps operators reduce fatigue and increase productivity, especially while maneuvering in tight spaces. The increased clearing capacity, impressive hydraulic rotation capabilities and extra-durable steel skid shoes make the SB12F an ideal solution for those looking to tackle harsh weather conditions head-on. In addition, the front-mount design enables operators to perform snow removal jobs efficiently while focusing on what's ahead, rather than what's behind them.

Built to handle all types of snow removal jobs, the 203 centimetres (80-inches) of clearing capacity on the SB12F helps operators move snow faster and in larger quantities. This not only saves time on the job but helps reduce operator fatigue. Also, the hydraulic chute on the SB12F can rotate 245-degrees in base, increasing placement accuracy while quickly and conveniently moving snow from the seat of the compact utility tractor.

Lastly, the adjustable and replaceable steel skid shoes, included in base, can help prevent damage or injury from materials and objects being thrown on the job. The steel skid shoes are replaceable as well, helping extend the life of the snowblower.

Before trade and tariffs dominated the conversation, taxation was one of the biggest issues on farmers’ minds last year. From the carbon tax to capital gains, OFA worked with the Canadian Federation of Agriculture and provincial partners to push for fair, practical solutions. We saw progress on carbon tax relief and capital gains, and we continue to advocate for modernized farm tax programs at both the provincial and federal levels.
