Linder Industrial Machinery Company has acquired Southern Tractor & Outdoors. The 3 branches in southwest Georgia — Leesburg, Moultrie and Valdosta — will be rebranded as Linder Turf & Tractor branches.
The Linder Turf & Tractor locations in Georgia will add a range of BOMAG machines and Deutz-Fahr tractors to a lineup that already features a large selection of Kubota and Land Pride equipment.
Linder Turf & Tractor, a Kubota dealer, now has 7 locations including Bradenton, Fla., Leesburg, Ga., Moultrie, Ga., Valdosta, Ga., Fayetteville, N.C., Greensboro, N.C., and Greenville, N.C.
Established in 1953, Linder Industrial Machinery sells heavy equipment in Florida and the Carolinas. Linder is one of the largest Komatsu dealers in the United States and sells, services and offers parts for other top manufacturers including BOMAG, Terramac, ATLAS, Mantsinen and FECON.
Linder created the Linder Turf & Tractor division in 2018 by purchasing a Kubota dealership in Florida, then 2 in North Carolina and in 2023 added a Fayetteville branch.
