Lindsey named Executive Director for EMDA

The EMDA Board announced Celeste Lindsey as the newest Executive Vice President following a nationwide search to fill the vacated position. Her predecessor, Patricia A. Collins, is retiring after 38 years with the Association.

"We are thrilled to have Celeste join our team at EMDA," the Association says in a press release. "Several talented individuals were interviewed, but Celeste’s impressive background, outgoing personality and vision to help lead EMDA into the future put her at the top of our list. We are excited for the rest of our members to get the chance to meet her at the convention this fall."

Lindsey started her position with EMDA on July 24 and will work with Pat Collins through the end of the year to acclimate with the company. Collins will work through the year and finish her service with the organization in January 2024.
