New MF 8S Xtra delivers more power comfort and innovation

Massey Fergusonhas unveiled its latest tractor range — the MF 8S Xtra series. Building on the award-winning MF 8S, this new series offers improved styling, performance, and operator comfort to meet the evolving needs of farmers and contractors.

“While updating this series, Massey Ferguson consulted new and existing customers as well as dealers to ensure it has the capability to not only satisfy, but also to exceed the requirements of farmers and contractors worldwide. With the MF 8S Xtra, owners are getting more than just a tractor; this is a dependable and reliable partner with a specification and the latest technology to suit their modern agricultural needs,” said Jérôme Aubrion, Director Marketing Massey Ferguson, Europe & Middle East.

The MF 8S Xtra line-up includes six models, ranging from 205 to 305 horsepower. With Engine Power Management (EPM), power can increase by up to 20hp for more demanding tasks. These tractors offer a choice of Dyna-7, Dyna E-Power dual-clutch, or Dyna-VT transmissions, enhancing versatility and performance.

Each model is powered by a 6-cylinder, 7.4-litre AGCO Power engine. The Protect-U design creates a 24 cm gap between the cab and engine, reducing noise, heat, and vibrations for better comfort. The new reversible fan and updated fan control software improve cooling and reduce fuel usage, cutting maintenance and operating costs.

Technology improvements include MF AutoTurn, Section Control for managing up to 96 sections, and AEF Isobus certification. The Datatronic 5 terminal offers full connectivity and control, while the optional Fieldstar 5 terminal adds advanced precision farming capabilities.

The MF 8S Xtra also includes comfort features like a Dual-Motion seat, steering wheel redesign, optional spinner ball, and external electric mirrors. A premium Entertainment Pack adds Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a 6.75” touchscreen, and Focal-designed speakers.

A new LED 360-degree lighting system with 20 ultra-bright LEDs enhances safety and productivity during long work hours, producing up to 51,500 lumens.

The series offers warranty and maintenance packages of up to five years, with MF Always Running options for service continuity. With stylish upgrades and durable performance, the MF 8S Xtra is built to support the demands of modern agriculture.
