Plevna Implement Opens New Location

Indiana AGCO dealership Plevna Implement has opened a new facility in Garrett, Ind., bringing the total number of locations to 3

In a story reported in The Star of DeKalb County, Ind., the new 31,000-square-foot location was built and opened in June, and was the result of Plevna acquiring nearby Harmony Outdoor Equipment in November 2022.

The location allows Plevna to serve northeast Indiana. According to the article, the new store has a showroom, parts area and two service bays. Plevna employs 9 people at the location, including 1 ag salesman and 2 outdoor power salesmen.

Today we begin spreading chicken litter on our crop ground for the fast approaching 2025 crop year. With all the bad news in the economy and especially farming economy we are going to do everything we can to keep our cost down to help keep the farm going. This begins with using chicken litter vs commercial fertilizer. Chicken litter is a great source of nutrients and is available in our area so we take advantage of that.
