Fuquay-Varina, N.C. — Quality Equipment, a John Deere Ag & Turf dealer group, has purchased the assets of Southeast Farm Equipment Co. based in Laurinburg, N.C. This acquisition was finalized on Dec. 5, 2022, increasing the Quality Equipment organization to 36 retail locations. Southeast Farm Equipment operated 6 total locations with 4 stores located in the southeastern North Carolina communities of Laurinburg, Lumberton, Hope Mills, and Whiteville and 2 stores located in the South Carolina towns of Clio and Loris.
Quality Equipment will continue to serve the needs of the diverse local customer base with enhanced service capabilities, additional parts inventory, focused precision ag support, and a larger selection of new and pre-owned equipment. With a focus on customer service, Quality Equipment looks forward to meeting the needs of agricultural producers, residential homeowners, contractors, governmental agencies, and commercial businesses in the area previously served by Southeast Farm Equipment. Quality Equipment sells agricultural, residential and compact construction equipment, as well as products from Stihl, Honda Power Equipment, and several other allied brands.
