Scott Miller Rescinds Acceptance of Tellus Equipment CEO Position

Scott Miller, announced via LinkedIn that he had rescinded his acceptance of the CEO position at Tellus Equipment. He was set to begin the new position on Oct. 29. 

In the post Miller said," Thank you to Troy Taylor for the opportunity. I wish everyone at Cardinal Systems Holdings and Tellus Equipment all the best moving forward."

Farm Equipment reached out to Tellus Equipment for a comment but hasn't received one to date.

Tellus Equipment Solutions, an authorized John Deere agriculture and turf dealer, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Scott Miller as its Chief Executive Officer. Scott has over 20 years of direct experience working across all aspects of John Deere agriculture and turf dealer operations.

"Scott is a great leader who has the right values and capabilities to lead Tellus for many years to come," said Troy Taylor, Chairman of Tellus. "His direct experience and track record in leading John Deere agriculture and turf dealers to achieve high performance is exactly what Tellus needs at this time."

Miller most recently served as a Moderator at NCM Associates where he advised heavy equipment dealerships on growth and development. Prior to NCM, Scott was President of United Ag & Turf – Northeast, a 43 location John Deere agriculture and turf dealer in New England and eastern New York. Before that, Scott was Chief Executive Officer of Harvest Equipment/Theriault Equipment, a John Deere agriculture and turf dealer in New England.

"I am thrilled to join the team at Tellus, and I look forward to working with the members of our team, customers, and community partners to build an even stronger Tellus," said Scott.

The appointment is effective October 28th and Miller will be based in Texas. His initial focus will be on building the right team and developing the right capabilities to improve Tellus’ customer service, sales execution, and operational performance.
