Lucknow Co-op Announces Cheese Factory Opening Along with Strong Financial Results

LUCKNOW, ON  – Lucknow District Co-operative is excited to announce that the Mercado at Pine River Food Products is now open, and the factory is starting to process cheese. This news was announced at the cooperative’s 78th Annual General Meeting, in which strong financial results were also showcased.

Lucknow District Co-operative president Martyn VanMeeteren reported sales over $38 million with a strong emphasis in energy and agronomy; and announced $600,000 in patronage payout to be distributed to its member-owners.  General Manager, Allan Scott reported positive growths with volumes in all divisions and thanked the staff for their hard work and dedication over the past year.

In 2022, the Lucknow District Co-operative benefited from the 2021 purchase of the D.G. MacDonald fuel yard in Ripley and saw the gasbar upgrade from a key lock to IPN cardlock system.
