Make chicken the ultimate protein snack

The perfect snack for on-the-go lifestyles.

Chicken Farmers of Canada have launched its latest national campaign, Chicken. Eat it Anytime.

Chicken Farmers of Canada CEO Michael Laliberté said it was designed to reframe how Canadians think about chicken.

“The idea started with a simple question: why not chicken?” Laliberté said. “It’s time to think beyond traditional meals and recognize chicken as the go-to snack for energy, taste, and trust in every bite.”

With health-conscious Gen Z and Millennials increasingly prioritizing protein—yet often reaching for processed bars and powders instead—the campaign offers another perspective: Canadian-raised chicken is the nutritious, convenient option.

In speaking with consumers, 71 per cent want to eat more protein, and that protein has become the top nutritional priority for many Canadians.

Video: Cull Or Keep? Sheep Sorting Day

To Cull Or Keep? It's decision time at Ewetopia Farms. Today, we tackle one of the toughest parts of sheep farming—deciding which sheep stay as part of our breeding program and which ones will be culled and sent to market. We start by getting another batch of ram lambs ready for shipping, a job that never gets easier no matter how many times we do it. Then, we move on to our older ewes to evaluate whether they’re still fit to produce lambs for another season. These decisions are never made lightly. We carefully consider their age, past lambing records, udder health, and overall condition.
