Mazergroup To Close Crystal City Location

Mazergroup has made the decision to permanently close its doors in Crystal City, Manitoba as of March 1, 2021.

The company will be merging its Crystal City operations with nearby locations in Killarney and Morden.

Each employee has been offered continued employment within the company.

“This business decision was not an easy one,” says Bob Mazer, President and CEO of Mazergroup. “There is an old saying in business that states ‘go where the competition is’ and it’s what we are doing to continue to move Mazergroup into the future.”

The closure will leave Mazergroup with 18 locations across Manitoba and Southern Saskatchewan.

Mazergroup says it will continue to be a part of the Crystal City community and hold a presence in the area.

“Our goal is to continue to serve our customers as they deserve to be served as the transition takes place,” said Mazer.

Mazergroup is a privately owned group of machinery dealerships offering agricultural, construction and commercial turf equipment sales, parts and service. The company was established in 1959 as a single agriculture dealership in Brandon.

Historically wars like the 2026 Iran war are bullish hard assets like grains, metals and energy! The funds are spooked and do not want to be short, but do they price in the news over time, similar to the Ukraine/Russian war that started on Feb. 24, 2022? A closure of the Strait of Hormuz is the key to the surge in crude oil, natural gas prices and fertilizer prices.  Grains are breaking out to new contract highs as a hedge against inflation.
