NDSU Carrington Research Extension Center Beef Production Field Day Set

North Dakota Agricultural Weather Network (NDAWN), New World screwworm (NWS), fly control, cattle abortion, and research results are some of the topics scheduled for the beef production Field Day tour on July 14 at North Dakota State University’s Carrington Research Extension Center (CREC).

The beef production tour is one of four tours offered during the morning of the field day. Other tours include agronomy, horticulture, and organic/sustainable agriculture. An afternoon tour will focus on emerging technologies including information related to spray drone applications, plasma activated water from a Green Lightning system, what’s new at the Grand Farm, and others.

The Center's 67th annual field day begins at 9 a.m. CDT with registration, coffee and a welcome. The beef production tour will depart at 9:30 a.m. and continue until noon with lunch provided.
