New local food and farm website SavourEastON

New SavourEastON.ca website will put local food and producers front and centre to highlight the agri-food sector in Eastern Ontario. Built around a searchable database for quick reference, it will enable the public to find farmers and all relevant information quickly and efficiently. Visitors will find local producers, events, itinerary ideas as well as interesting and whimsical discoveries across the region.

The Eastern Ontario Agri-Food Network was created in 2010 and primarily serves a territory comprising Akwesasne, the City of Cornwall, the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry and the United Counties of Prescott and Russell.

The website launch will take place on Thursday, March 30th at 5 p.m. at Stonehouse Vineyard in Alexandria, ON.

SavourEastON.ca was supported by Desjardins Ontario, Community Development Fund and Francophone Community Grants Program.
