Olds College Signs Collaboration Research Agreement with Nufarm

Olds College of Agriculture and Technology has signed an official agreement to collaborate in the research, development, and testing of agriculture technologies and products at the Olds College Smart Farm with Nufarm Agriculture Inc., an Aug. 2 news release said.

“We are thrilled to partner with Olds College, a renowned institution with a strong commitment to agricultural excellence, as we make significant investments in our applied research on behalf of the growers we serve,” Boyd Bergstrom, country lead for Nufarm Canada, said in the release.

The release noted the partnership is the first Nufarm technology development station established in Canada. Nufarm is a crop protection and seed technology company. The agreement establishes a strategic framework for the development and testing of agriculture technologies, plot trials of chemistry and biological technologies, agronomic training, and applied research projects related to smart agricultural technology.
