Farmers and ranchers from across the country should make plans now to attend the American Farm Bureau Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, January 8-13. AFBF President Zippy Duvall said the gathering is a can’t-miss event featuring a jam-packed agenda.
"We'll have more than a dozen educational workshops, some really exciting tours of North Carolina agriculture, engaging keynote speakers, and of course, our top-notch trade show," Duvall said. "If that's not enough, we'll also have competitive events for our Young Farmers & Ranchers Program, and a live pitch for the Ag Innovation Challenge Final Four."
He said the slate of workshops is a highlight of the upcoming convention.
"From hot topics in public policy to the latest insights in artificial intelligence in agriculture, there's something for everyone during our workshops," Duvall said. "Get the latest farm economy outlook, and even hear directly from officials from USDA or EPA about policies and programs impacting your farm or ranch."
