Registration Open For KLA Legislative Meeting And Dinner

The KLA Legislative Meeting and Dinner is scheduled for February 17 at the Townsite Tower in Topeka. All meetings and meals held throughout the day will take place at this location.

The day will start with a complimentary lunch at 11:30 a.m., sponsored by Equity Bank and KLA Environmental Services. At 1:00 p.m., KLA’s lobbying team will analyze bills under consideration in the Kansas Legislature. Members will have the opportunity to discuss and take positions on the bills, providing direction to staff.

The social and dinner with state legislators will begin at 6:00 p.m. All 165 members of the Legislature have been invited. Members are encouraged to sit with their representative and/or senator at dinner to discuss KLA positions on proposed legislation.

Lunch and the legislative meeting are free for members to attend. The cost for dinner is $50 per person. Online registration and hotel information are available here. The deadline for booking hotel rooms is January 20.
