Plant breeding, in particular, has experienced tremendous change since the introduction of the first commercialized GMOs in the 1990s. Since then, plant breeding innovations and technology have boomed. There’s technology like genomics and phenotyping, predictive artificial intelligences, gene editing and so much more.
