Ten New PigLEARN Training Modules Set for Release in January

The Canadian Pork Council (CPC) is expanding its PigLEARN online training platform with the addition of ten new low-stress pig-handling modules, scheduled for release in January 2026.

Launched in March, PigLEARN is CPC’s digital learning management system designed to deliver practical, barn-focused training for swine workers across Canada. The platform currently hosts 86 modules, with the upcoming release pushing it to 96 training modules, plus any company-specific content that producers upload through the system.

A Comprehensive Approach to Low-Stress Handling

Mark Fynn, Training Resources Coordinator with CPC, discussed the updates during Manitoba Hog and Poultry Days 2025. He says the new modules take a full, detailed look at handling pigs at every stage of life.
