Planters are an essential piece for farm equipment for any operator growing crops - particularly on a large scale. Planters are used to sow the crop seeds into the ground and typically work either by gravity or air pressure (pneumatic planters). Planters are towed behind the tractor and have as many as 48 row units, and as few as 2 row units. Planters also use markers installed at one side that allows the operator to make even rows with repeated passes.
