Marciano remains the only boxer to retire with an undefeated record (49-0).
After retirement, Marciano invested in farms in Canada and the U.S.
“I’m a potato farmer now and darn glad of it,” Marciano said during a 1958 interview, The Daily Gazette reported. “I’m not kidding about being a farmer."
