Bridget McKenzie, a former school teacher and university lecturer, became Australia’s first federal agriculture minister in May 2019.
As ag minister, McKenzie helped develop a dairy code of conduct that establishes a dispute resolution process for issues between farmers and processors.
In addition, she has supported a ban of solid products containing more than a 5 per cent caffeine concentration or a 1 per cent concentration in liquid products.
