In 2003 during the construction of an oil pipeline, Georgian researchers discovered ceramic jars with honey in the tomb of a female noblewoman.
The honey is about 5,500 years old, archaeologists said.
As in ancient Egypt, ancient Georgians packed for people’s journeys into the afterlife.
