South Africa - Louis Botha

Louis Botha served as the first minister of agriculture while also holding the position of the first prime minister of the Union of South Africa.

He took on the roles in 1907 and remained in both positions in some capacity until 1913.

That year he passed the Native Land Act, which stripped Black people of opportunities to rent or buy land in mostly white areas.
