New California facility boosts parts availability and delivery speed
AGCO has expanded its support network for farmers in the western United States with the opening of a new Parts Distribution Center in Visalia, California. The facility officially opened on Sept. 1, 2026, and replaces the company's previous location in the region.
The new center covers 115,000 square feet and more than doubles AGCO's West Coast parts capacity. By storing a larger range of frequently used parts closer to customers, the company aims to improve service, reduce delivery times, and help farmers keep equipment operating during critical periods.
"We reimagined every step of how parts move, from receiving to shipping, and built the systems to match, including advanced automation, smarter forecasting and a deeper local inventory," said Stefan Caspari, Senior Vice President, Customer Success and North American Ag, AGCO. "For our dealers and farmers, this means more of the parts they need are on the shelf and closer to home, giving them greater confidence that the right part will be there when it matters most."
Located in California's productive Central Valley, the distribution center is strategically positioned to serve farmers and equipment dealers across the western U.S. The location supports AGCO's major equipment brands, including Fendt™ and Massey Ferguson™.
AGCO said the facility was designed using advanced automation, improved forecasting tools, and expanded inventory management systems. These upgrades are expected to help ensure that high-demand parts are available when customers need them.
The distribution center also includes modern warehouse features such as vertical lift modules, high-density storage systems, and dedicated space for oversized equipment components. Sustainable features include rooftop solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations.
The project reflects AGCO's ongoing Farmer-First strategy and long-term commitment to strengthen customer service in North America. Company officials noted that the facility was developed through several years of planning, analysis, and collaboration across AGCO's global operations.
Equipment dealers are expected to benefit from faster access to replacement parts, allowing them to better support customers and reduce equipment downtime. Quicker availability of parts can be especially important during planting, harvesting, and other busy farming seasons when machinery performance is critical.
AGCO plans to celebrate the new facility with a grand opening event scheduled for the first quarter of 2027. The investment highlights the company's focus on improving operational efficiency while supporting farmers with reliable parts of access and service.
