New organic product line supports plant health and reduces crop stress

Agro 100 has introduced a new line of organic biostimulants under the Pür brand as part of its plan for future growth. The launch comes as the company approaches its 35th anniversary and aims to strengthen its role in the agriculture sector across key global markets.

One of the unique features of this new line is its compatibility with drone applications. This modern spraying method uses less water compared to traditional techniques. Drone spraying requires far less liquid per hectare than application by aircraft or ground equipment, making it more efficient and environmentally friendly.

The company says the new product line reflects its ability to adapt and grow with changing agricultural needs. While Agro 100 continues to support conventional farming, it is also contributing to climate change solutions by improving fertilizer efficiency and increasing crop yields through new technologies.

“The organic agriculture sector, meanwhile, has grown by 11% in Canada since 2020. No fewer than 7,700 farms are certified organic. In Quebec, there are roughly 3,000 certified organic farms,” said Pierre Migner, the Research director.

The organic farming sector in Canada has shown steady growth. It has expanded significantly in recent years, with thousands of certified organic farms across the country. Quebec alone accounts for a large share of these farms, highlighting the rising demand for sustainable agricultural practices.

The Pür biostimulant line is designed to improve plant health by helping crops produce natural defense compounds such as enzymes and proteins. This process supports plant growth without placing extra stress on crops. The products contain key ingredients like amino acids, peptides, and citric acid, which improve effectiveness and help plants better manage environmental stress.

The Pür products are certified by recognized organizations such as Ecocert and OMRI, which ensures they meet organic farming standards. These certifications support their use in sustainable agriculture systems.

The company already operates in regions such as Canada, the northeastern United States, and parts of Latin America, including Mexico.
