Innovative plant nutrition technology improves yields and supports climate resilience

Continuous investment in agricultural research and development helps improve farming practices and long-term sustainability. Agro100 has worked closely with academic institutions and researchers to develop innovative agroecological solutions that support farm productivity and environmental protection.

“But this has been greatly surpassed with the special OligoPrime technology, with economic returns of 7 to 9 ratio to 1,” said Pierre Migner, Director of Agricultural Research & Development.

Through years of scientific trials and field testing, the company reports that its technologies can generate economic returns that are significantly higher than conventional agricultural practices. Based on nearly 3,000 validated research results, Agro100 indicates that its technologies have produced a conservative minimum return ratio of three to one for farmers.

Researchers say some technologies have delivered even greater results. According to the company’s agricultural research leadership, the OligoPrime technology has achieved economic returns ranging from seven to nine times the investment in several trials. These results have been confirmed through experiments conducted in growth chambers, greenhouses, research plots, and real farm fields.

The company’s biostimulants and liquid nutrient products are designed to improve the absorption of essential trace elements needed for plant growth. When crops absorb these nutrients more efficiently, plants are better able to prevent nutrient deficiencies and grow more productively. These technologies also help plants manage abiotic stresses such as heat, drought, and other environmental pressures that can reduce crop yields.

Improved plant nutrition also contributes to environmental sustainability. By strengthening plant health and efficiency, these products can reduce potential environmental impacts while supporting stable farm profitability. Company leaders say these innovations represent practical solutions to some of the growing challenges associated with climate change.

Farmers today face increasing risks from extreme weather events such as droughts, floods, heat waves, pests, and diseases. Technologies that support stronger plant growth and healthier soils may help producers adapt to these challenges. Agro100 notes that its technologies can support soil conservation, improve biodiversity, and contribute to lower greenhouse gas emissions such as nitrous oxide.

To support innovation, the company continues to invest heavily in research programs and modern production facilities. Its advanced manufacturing plant produces about 16 million liters of liquid nutrients and biostimulants during each production shift.
