Can Am and Sea Doo Models Gain Top Honors at Red Dot Awards

BRP has strengthened its reputation for innovative vehicle design by winning four prestigious Red Dot Awards in 2026. The international recognition highlights the company's commitment to creating products that combine functionality, performance, and user-friendly features.

Among the winners, three of the awards were earned by Can-Am vehicles, a brand that is especially popular with farmers and rural users because of its durability, versatility, and ability to handle demanding work environments.  While many are used for recreation, some of them have become reliable utility vehicles on the farm.

The Can-Am Outlander MAX 6x6 was recognized for its rugged design, exceptional traction, and flexible cargo solutions. Its modular cargo bed and removable storage system help users adapt the vehicle for a wide range of tasks.

The Can-Am Outlander Electric also received recognition for bringing a quiet, zero-emission riding experience to the ATV market. The vehicle combines modern styling, practical ergonomics, and advanced technology to support both work and recreation.

Another winner was the Can-Am Defender HD11, which impressed judges with its comfortable cabin design, practical features, and durable materials. Its bold exterior styling and functional interior make it well suited for demanding daily use.

Though not useful on the farm, the Sea-Doo Switch Fish captured the prestigious Best of the Best award. The modular pontoon can quickly transform from a fishing platform into a recreational watercraft. Owners can customize the layout using nearly 100 interchangeable components, including seats, storage units, and accessories.

The achievement follows another major milestone for BRP after becoming the first Canadian company to receive the Red Dot Design Team of the Year title.

"After having the honor of presenting this year's 'Red Dot: Design Team of the Year 2026' title to our successors, I am particularly proud to see our team's exceptional work continue to shine in the industry," said Denys Lapointe, Chief Design Officer at BRP. "These accolades demonstrate the strength of our design vision, and being recognized by our peers internationally is a source of immense pride."
