New Defender Maverick and Outlander models add power and value
Can-Am has unveiled its 2027 lineup of side by side and all-terrain vehicles, introducing important updates across its Defender, Maverick, and Outlander families. The new models focus on improved performance, comfort, technology, and overall value for riders, workers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
The Defender lineup receives some of the biggest upgrades. A new Defender XU model comes equipped with factory installed accessories that help improve productivity and convenience. Designed for farmers, ranchers, land managers, and other hardworking users, the model offers added utility straight from the dealership.

Can-Am has also introduced the next generation Defender HD10, powered by a new 80 horsepower Rotax triple cylinder engine. The vehicle features improved suspension, updated chassis design, advanced technology, and a more comfortable cabin.
Technology upgrades are also a major highlight. Select Defender models now feature a 10.25 inch wireless touch display with navigation, audio functions, and remote software update capabilities. A new 5 inch color display is available across the lineup, giving riders easy access to vehicle information.
The Maverick family continues to build on its performance reputation. All 2027 Maverick R models now include a second generation Rotax dual clutch transmission with an extra low gear for better control in challenging terrain. The upgraded system improves power delivery and durability. Additional enhancements across Maverick models include improved braking systems, better cabin protection, and reduced maintenance needs.
Can-Am has also expanded its trail focused offerings. Maverick Trail and Maverick Sport models now offer a specialized X package that includes LED lighting, full doors, a roof, and upgraded suspension components for enhanced trail riding performance.
The Outlander lineup receives notable improvements as well. A new MAX configuration is now available for the Outlander X mr, providing more options for mud riding enthusiasts. The Outlander Pro models gain several factories installed accessories, while premium XT and Backcountry versions now feature a large touch display with built in GPS, offline mapping, and ride management capabilities.
