CNH introduces Top Tech Program at NFMS

The program is designed to ensure the next generation of technicians are ready to work in the industry

By Farms.com

Attendees of the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Ky., in February were surrounded by modern equipment and industry innovations.

But what happens when those machines need repair?

One equipment manufacturer is doing its part to ensure a new crop of technicians is ready to work in the industry.

CNH Industrial’s Top Tech Program is a collaboration between CNH Industrial and top technical colleges offering degrees in diesel and ag technology.

“We want people to join the industry and we know there are great students out there that can benefit from a career in their local community,” Peter Steiner, the Top Tech Program manager with CNH Industrial, told Farms.com. “Our dealers are looking for people to help with scholarships, sponsorships and even tool purchase programs.”

The program is currently open to students in 15 U.S. states and two Canadian provinces.
