New Premier package improves mixing speed accuracy and automation
Demco® Products and Dura Products have partnered to introduce a new Premier Plumbing Package for DEMCO® liquid tender trailers. The new system combines Demco®’s trailer technology with Dura FastBatch™ Direct Injection and Auto-Batch systems to provide a complete solution for handling liquid applications on the farm.
The Premier Plumbing Package is designed to improve efficiency by increasing automation and reducing the need for manual mixing. Installed at the factory, the package arrives fully integrated, eliminating the need for additional aftermarket plumbing systems.
One of the main advantages of the system is its advanced mixing and batching technology. Operators can inject up to four different chemicals at the same time while maintaining accurate application rates. The system can reduce fill times by up to 75 percent, allowing some loads to be completed in as little as five minutes. Automated controls also help prevent overfilling and improve consistency with precise flow management.
The package includes several exclusive features developed through the partnership. Automated Tank Batch Loading allows operators to fill tanks directly using the trailer pump without requiring a separate external pump. An integrated onboard power system supplies energy to mixing, metering, valves, and accessories while charging during transport.
Another feature is the built-in air blowdown system, which helps remove product from plumbing lines. This improves cleanout speed, reduces waste, and makes hoses easier to handle after use.
In addition to these new technologies, the system includes established Demco® plumbing components such as a central fill bank, a John Blue pump with a Honda motor, and a 65-gallon inductor cone for increased mixing capacity.
Demco® and Dura Products plan to showcase the new Premier Plumbing Package at the Ag PhD Field Day on July 30, where farmers and dealers will have an opportunity to see the technology in operation and learn more about its capabilities.
