Grand Champion Crowned at World Dairy Expo

Kadence Farms Lovely Tops International Guernsey Show

The International Guernsey Show at World Dairy Expo highlighted the best of Guernsey cattle, with outstanding winners across all divisions. 

Kadence Farms Lovely, the winning Six-Year-Old & Older Cow, earned both Grand Champion and Senior Champion honors. She was awarded the prestigious Allen Hetts Grand Champion Trophy for this achievement. Lovely is proudly owned by Kadence Farms of New Glarus, Wisconsin. 

Taking the Reserve Grand Champion title was Donnybrook Ammo Stevie, the Intermediate Champion and winning Senior Three-Year-Old Cow. She is owned by Brittany Taylor and Laylaa Schuler, also of New Glarus, Wisconsin. 

Following Lovely, the Reserve Senior Champion honor went to Cape May Latimer Honey, owned by Savannah Thomas of West Liberty, Ohio. Meanwhile, the Reserve Intermediate Champion title was awarded to RHG Villa Breezy Venus-ET, the winning Senior Two-Year-Old, owned by Alison Gartman of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. 

In the heifer classes, Wil-San James Dean Tori-ET, the winning Winter Yearling Heifer, took home Junior Champion honors along with the Norman E. Magnussen Memorial Award. She was exhibited by Cindy Bates and Lorrie Dietz of Southington, Ohio. The Reserve Junior Champion went to Prairie Moon Cadet Annie, the winning Summer Yearling Heifer Calf, owned by Mike Dilly of Dyersville, Iowa. 

The Premier Breeder award was presented to Valley Gem Farms of Cumberland, Wisconsin, while Springhill of Big Prairie, Ohio, earned the title of Premier Exhibitor. The Premier Sire recognition went to Hi Guern View Levi Drone. 

Judges Mark Rueth of Oxford, Wisconsin, and Tina Vilter McDonald of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, evaluated 247 entries, showcasing excellence in Guernsey cattle breeding.
