ARGIS probiotic earns Best of the Best recognition at IPPE 2026

KENT Nutrition reached an important milestone after its ARGIS probiotic was recognized as a Best of the Best Award winner in the Animal Food category at the 2026 International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE). The event was held in Atlanta and brought together leaders from across the animal agriculture industry.

The award honored new products that show strong innovation and meaningful impact for producers. ARGIS was selected from a competitive group of exhibitors for its unique approach to improving feed efficiency and overall animal performance in poultry and swine production systems.

ARGIS is built around a special strain of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens that helps unlock more nutritional value from soybean meal. By doing so, it supports better nutrient use in animal diets. Judges noted that the probiotic reduces the need for several separate enzymes while remaining stable during heat processing and in low pH environments. These features address common challenges faced by feed manufacturers and livestock producers.

"Winning the Best of the Best Award is an incredible honor for KENT Nutrition and a strong validation of our work," said Kale Causemaker, Senior Director, Innovative Solutions at KENT Nutrition. "ARGIS is changing the game in poultry nutrition, giving producers a powerful, science-backed tool to help improve feed efficiency and performance. This recognition underscores the meaningful impact our team is delivering to the industry."

The company emphasized that this recognition reflects years of research and development focused on practical results for producers. ARGIS is positioned as a tool that helps improve feed efficiency, support animal growth, and simplify feed formulation while maintaining reliable performance.

The product is protected under a U.S. patent, which helps ensure the probiotic’s formulation remains unique and continues to deliver consistent benefits. Throughout the expo, KENT Nutrition showcased ARGIS at its booth, engaging with industry professionals and discussing how the award-winning probiotic is helping set higher standards in modern animal nutrition.
