Ten nonprofit organizations receive funding and equipment support for agriculture education, food security, and community improvement initiatives.

Kubota Tractor Corporation has announced the recipients of its 2026 Hometown Proud® Grant Program, awarding a total of $500,000 to support community-focused projects across the United States.

The program, now in its sixth year, provides each selected nonprofit organization with $25,000 in cash and an additional $25,000 toward the purchase of Kubota equipment. The initiative aims to strengthen local communities through projects that support agriculture, education, environmental stewardship, food security, and public spaces.

According to Kubota, the 2026 grant cycle attracted more than 1,100 applications from communities nationwide. After an extensive review process, ten organizations were chosen based on their potential to create meaningful and long-lasting community benefits.

Since launching the Hometown Proud® program, Kubota has invested more than $2.9 million in funding and equipment to support local nonprofit efforts. The company says the initiative is designed to help organizations address community challenges while building stronger partnerships between residents, nonprofits, and local Kubota dealers.

The selected projects represent a wide range of community needs. Several recipients will use grant funding to expand agricultural education programs and provide hands-on learning opportunities for youth and families. Others will focus on improving access to fresh food, promoting environmental conservation, supporting workforce development, and enhancing public recreational spaces.

A number of projects involve community gardens, educational farms, and sustainable agriculture initiatives. These programs aim to teach agricultural skills while increasing access to locally produced food and creating opportunities for community engagement.

Food security is another major focus among the winning projects. Grant funding will help organizations expand food production, improve distribution efforts, and provide nutritious food to families facing economic challenges.

Several nonprofit recipients will also use Kubota equipment to maintain parks, gardens, and community gathering spaces. These improvements are expected to enhance public access to recreational areas while encouraging environmental stewardship and neighborhood pride.

Other initiatives focus on workforce development and specialized support services. These programs include employment training opportunities, wellness services, and educational experiences designed to benefit a broad range of community members.

“The Kubota Hometown Proud grant program reflects our deep commitment to supporting communities where our customers and dealers live and work,” said Alex Woods, President of Kubota Tractor Corporation. “Our dealers are the heart of this program, and we believe in investing in programs that matter to their communities. With their support, we’re able to deliver more than funding but also equipment and a long-term trusted partnership for ongoing success.”

A unique feature of the Hometown Proud® program is the involvement of local Kubota dealers. Each winning organization is paired with a dealer's partner who provides equipment expertise and ongoing support beyond the initial grant award. This approach helps ensure that projects have access to resources and guidance as they move forward.

The 2026 Kubota Hometown Proud Grant Winners are:

  • Armored Church partners with Sink Farm Equipment.

  • Friends of Greenfield Recreation partners with M.B. Tractor & Equipment.

  • Galloway Family Farm & Education Center partners with Lee Tractor Company.

  • HALTER Healing and Learning Through Equine Relationships partners with Blue Water Equipment Group.

  • Moncus Park partners with Sammy Broussard Equipment Center.

  • Osseo Community Foundation partners with Johnson Tractor.

Kubota leadership stated that dealer participation remains central to the success of the program. By combining corporate investment with local knowledge and community engagement, the company hopes to create lasting impacts that extend well beyond the grant period.

The winning organizations were selected from different regions of the country, highlighting the diverse ways communities are addressing local challenges. From agricultural education and food access to environmental conservation and community development, the projects demonstrate how targeted support can help nonprofits expand their reach and effectiveness.

“We’re honored to be part of this program that has a very direct local impact,” said Joe Reister, Store Manager, at Pelican Tractor in Klamath Falls, Ore. “Kubota is providing a channel to empower our community, and it’s incredibly rewarding.”

Kubota says the Hometown Proud® Grant Program continues to reflect its commitment to supporting the communities where customers, employees, and dealers live and work. Through strategic investments in nonprofit organizations and local partnerships, the company aims to help create stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities.

As the selected nonprofits begin implementing their projects, the funding and equipment are expected to provide valuable resources that support long-term growth and community success. The 2026 grant recipients represent a broad cross-section of organizations working to improve quality of life, expand opportunities, and strengthen connections within their communities.
