Cooperative invests in Tulare facility to meet rising global protein demand
Land O'Lakes has announced a major investment in its dairy processing facility in Tulare, California, aimed at increasing production of high-value dairy proteins. The investment will allow the facility to produce ultra-filtered milk; an important ingredient used in many protein-focused food and beverage products. By expanding its processing capabilities, Land O'Lakes expects to increase the value of milk supplied by its members and strengthen its position in evolving food markets.
