Massey Ferguson North America has unveiled its new N-Series Split/Narrow Row Planters during the 2026 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa, introducing a lineup designed to offer growers greater flexibility, integrated planting technology and lower long-term ownership costs.
The new series is available in six configurations: 23-15, 24-15, 31-15, 32-15, 24-20 and 24-22. According to the company, the planters are intended for split- and narrow-row operations and combine factory-installed precision planting technology with a modular platform that can be expanded as farm needs change.
The N-Series incorporates Precision Planting 20|20 Gen3, vSet2, vDrive, and DeltaForce technologies. The integrated systems are designed to support accurate seed placement, consistent planting depth and more uniform crop emergence across changing field conditions.

"It delivers the performance producers need today while giving them the flexibility to adapt as their operation grows. The planter features twin 45-bushel central seed tanks and can be equipped with up to 500 gallons of liquid fertilizer capacity. An optional in-cab manual weight transfer system is also available. Massey Ferguson said the design aims to provide the capacity many growers require while maintaining a lightweight and cost-effective machine.
To simplify maintenance, the N-Series includes a large service platform with a centre walkway, organized hydraulic routing, protected hardlines and hose storage. The company said these features are intended to reduce service time and help keep equipment operating during critical planting periods.
The planter is built with Heads Up row units featuring reinforced cast components and greaseless operation. Massey Ferguson explained that the design reduces routine maintenance requirements while supporting long-term durability. The company also noted that the planter does not require subscriptions or software unlocks, which it says can contribute to a lower total cost of ownership.
The modular platform allows producers to add technologies such as WaveVision, SpeedTube, CleanSweep, EMHD, and Pump Stack as operational requirements evolve. The company said this approach allows growers to expand planter capabilities over time while limiting future upgrade costs and downtime.
The N-Series planters were among several products highlighted by Massey Ferguson at the Farm Progress Show. Visitors to the company's exhibit could also see updates to the MF 9S Series tractors, MF 5S Series tractors and the Massey Ferguson double baler.
