Canadian firms invited to Toronto and Montreal meetings with Mexican companies

The Government of Mexico is organizing an upcoming international trade mission aimed at strengthening business ties between Mexico and Canada. The delegation will include Mexican companies seeking Canadian partners for cooperation, investment, sourcing, and market expansion opportunities.

The business program will take place in two major Canadian cities. Meetings will be held in Toronto on May 7 and in Montreal on May 8. During these events, Canadian companies will have the chance to participate in pre-arranged B2B meetings with visiting Mexican firms.

The initiative is designed to support stronger North American supply chains and encourage new commercial partnerships. It also provides opportunities for Canadian businesses to explore long-term collaboration with Mexican companies across different industries.

Key sectors represented in the mission include infrastructure, agro-industry and agri-food, manufacturing and advanced manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, energy, logistics and transportation, education and training services, innovation and intellectual property, creative industries, and investment funds and financial services.

The Secretariat of Economy of Mexico is responsible for coordinating the business program and organizing the B2B meetings. The goal is to ensure meaningful engagement between companies from both countries and to support future economic growth.

Canadian companies are encouraged to participate in this initiative. Interested businesses can register their participation and confirm their interest in joining B2B meetings through the official mission website. The registration link is https://www.misionmxca.com/join-trade-mission.

Participation offers an opportunity to connect directly with Mexican businesses that are actively looking for partnerships and market expansion in Canada.

This trade mission reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen trade relations between Canada and Mexico. It also highlights the importance of cooperation in key sectors that support innovation, trade, and sustainable development across North America.

By bringing together companies from both countries, the mission aims to create practical business connections that can lead to new contracts, joint ventures, and investment opportunities.

It also supports knowledge sharing in technology, innovation, and industrial development, helping businesses become more competitive in global markets. The meetings are structured to allow targeted discussions between firms, making it easier to identify mutual interests and explore long-term cooperation.

We encourage participation from eligible Canadian companies seeking growth opportunities in North American markets through this trade mission initiative.
