Steiger Series Offers Powerful Options for Every Farm Need

Case IH has a Steiger tractor  for every farmer, including three versatile options—wheel, Rowtrac, and Quadtrac—each tailored to different farming operations.

These tractors range from 425 to 715 horsepower, with the 715 HP available exclusively in the Quadtrac model.

Farms.com met with Roger Lewno with Case IH for a complete overview of its Steiger lineup.

He explained that the latest models feature a suspended undercarriage, significantly improving ride comfort in the field and on the road by reducing bounce and enhancing stability.

Whether using wheel or track models, all tractors in this series are built on heavy-duty steel frames with tri-point oscillation—a system that forms a triangle for better power transfer and traction, helping the tractor stay grounded and efficient under heavy loads.

This makes the Steiger tractors ideal for various tasks such as planting, tilling, and heavy-duty scraper operations. Farmers using tools like the 875 disc ripper will find the Steiger an excellent match for powerful and consistent performance.

Inside the cab, operators benefit from two advanced transmission choices: CVT/CVX with infinite speed adjustability or a 16-speed full power shift.

The power shift models also include Automatic Productivity Management (APM), allowing the operator to optimize speed and power based on the task at hand, without overworking the engine.

The Steiger tractors are equipped with Pro 1200 displays and support for guidance systems like RTK or WAAS, enabling smooth communication between tractor and implement..
