New Features and Power in Fendt's Latest Tractor Models

Fendt has rolled out some new high-horsepower tractors, its new Vario 600 Series.

To learn more about these features, Farms.com connected with Daniel Smith, senior strategic marketing manager for Fendt.

He explained that the recently unveiled Fendt Vario 600 series is designed to enhance agricultural productivity with high horsepower and innovative features.

This series includes four models: 614, 618, 616, and 620, ranging from 164 horsepower to 224 horsepower.

Maximum performance to the drawbar is achieve with its DynamicPerformance feature which provides an extra 15 HP. This system detects when components need more power and automatically sends it there.

The tractor features a new AGCO Power 5L 4-cylinder engine, paired with the groundbreaking Fendt VarioDrive CVT.

This combination ensures powerful performance and offers seamless and efficient power transmission from the engine to the ground.

The tractors are designed for ease of use, with a multi-function joystick and a foot pedal mode, allowing operators to drive the tractor similarly to a car, a feature particularly appreciated by many Fendt customers.

Another standout feature is the VarioGrip system, an integrated central tire inflation system controlled from the cab.

This system allows the operator to adjust tire pressure based on terrain, increasing pressure for road travel and decreasing it in the field to maximize the footprint for better traction and reduced soil compaction.

These tractors also come equipped with high-end features typically found on more powerful machines, such as a reversing fan, enhancing their appeal and utility in various agricultural applications.
