New identity strengthens innovation and global presence in agriculture
PI Industries has officially rebranded Plant Health Care Plc as PI AgSciences, strengthening its global focus on sustainable and innovative crop solutions. This new identity follows PI’s acquisition of Plant Health Care in August 2024, which included its operations in the U.S., Brazil, Mexico, and several other key agricultural markets.
PI Industries is a fast-growing global life sciences company with annual revenue of around US$1 billion. With more than 80 years of experience, the company works across the full agriculture value chain—from discovery to delivery. Its expertise spans crop protection, biologicals, and custom synthesis and manufacturing. PI serves customers through branded products as well as strategic partnerships that help deliver tailored solutions to farmers worldwide.
Operating in more than 40 countries, PI has over 4,000 employees and a strong research network of more than 700 scientists. Its R&D teams work across four global centres, supported by seven advanced manufacturing locations. PI is also recognised among the top five global AgChem custom synthesis and manufacturing companies. With over 25 years of experience in biologicals, the company continues to lead in sustainable crop solutions and is featured in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for 2025.
The creation of PI AgSciences builds on this strength. The company has set up its global office in St. Louis, Missouri, a hub for agricultural innovation and research. This region provides access to leading scientists and is closely linked to the U.S. farming community. In addition, PI AgSciences maintains operations in Brazil, Mexico, the U.K., and Spain, along with a biologicals R&D centre in Seattle, Washington.
Leaders at PI believe this transition will help deliver greater value to growers. "We have made significant investments in our biologicals technology platform and continue to see strong traction in the market. These solutions complement PI's differentiated portfolio to deliver comprehensive crop solutions to farmers worldwide in line with our purpose of reimagining a healthier planet." said Mayank Singhal, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director, PI Industries Ltd.
"We're building a global agriculture business with the commercial reach and scientific depth to compete at scale. We're delivering innovative solutions that create real value for growers," said Jagresh Rana, CEO, PI AgSciences.
Through this expansion, PI AgSciences aims to support farmers with advanced, sustainable technologies that improve crop performance and strengthen global agriculture.
