New campaign supports mental health programs for farmers and rural families
Pioneer is strengthening its commitment to farmers through a new partnership with country music artist Chris Janson to support mental health awareness in rural communities. The initiative, called Hats Off to Farmers, aims to generate conversations around mental wellness while raising funds for programs designed to help farmers build resilience and access support resources.
The collaboration comes at a time when many farmers continue to face increasing pressures from market fluctuations, weather uncertainty, rising costs, and the everyday demands of agricultural production. Industry leaders are recognizing that mental health is an important part of maintaining strong and sustainable farming operations.
As part of the campaign, Pioneer and Janson are offering special-edition co-branded hats, with proceeds benefiting the Deep Roots Mental Wellness Program from Rural Minds. The program is focused on helping farmers and rural residents strengthen mental wellness, identify signs of emotional distress, and learn where to seek help when needed.
Pioneer is also contributing significant support to the effort. As the company concludes its 100th anniversary celebrations, it has committed $100,000 to Rural Minds to expand access to educational resources and resilience-building tools for farmers and their families.

Throughout his career, he has supported charitable causes that benefit agricultural communities and promote mental health awareness.
