Suite of Products Enhance Planting Accuracy and Seed Emergence Consistency

Precision Planting is transforming farming with its total planting solution.

Its suite of products improve row cleaning, seed placement, and furrow closing, which in turn, helps farmers achieve better seed emergence and maximize crop performance.

Farms.com connected with Brian Jackson, product support team lead with Precision Planting, to learn more about this complete system and its benefits.

One key feature is the Reveal system, which ensures effective cleaning in front of the row unit. It operates with a dual airbag lift and down pressure system, along with an integrated gauge wheel, to remove debris and create a clean seedbed.

With Reveal you can set that pressure to keep the gauge wheel or no-till coulter in the ground, which eliminates row cleaner bounce.

For improved seeding accuracy, the vSet 2 meter and SpeedTube help deliver precise seed placement. This ensures consistent spacing and depth, leading to uniform emergence and healthier crop growth.

Closing the furrow is another critical step for seedling development. The dual closing system, integrated with the shank, ensures proper soil density after planting.

The dual-stage FurrowForce closing system uses two sets of wheels—one to break and close the furrow from the bottom up and the second to reset soil density, creating ideal conditions for germination.

Precision Planting is no stranger to innovation. Its retrofit technology can help you optimize planting efficiency and crop emergence.
