The upgraded system delivers major improvements in accuracy, control, and operator experience.

PTX has introduced the latest version of TrueTracker, now integrated into Precision-IQ (PIQ).

This updated version builds on the original system previously available in FMX displays, offering improved performance, enhanced accuracy, and several new user-focused features.

TrueTracker is designed to provide implement guidance by actively steering the implement using its own GPS receiver. This allows operators to maintain precise alignment in the field, even when the implement does not naturally follow directly behind the tractor.

The system can control components such as steerable axles, steerable coulters, and side-shift hitches, all managed through the GFX display.

This capability is especially valuable for operations like strip-till or vegetable production, where accurate placement is critical.

It also benefits row crop farmers working on slopes, where implements can drift downhill despite the tractor staying on course.

By keeping the implement aligned, TrueTracker helps reduce crop damage, improve fertilizer placement, and maintain consistent row spacing.

The PIQ version introduces a dual-stage engagement feature, giving operators flexibility to engage either the implement or tractor guidance first, or both simultaneously.

Another key upgrade is the “steer to zero” function, which automatically centers the implement when it is lifted, eliminating the need for manual adjustments during headland turns.

Additionally, the integration of the NAV-960 receiver significantly boosts system performance.

With access to five satellite constellations, it delivers improved signal reliability, better resistance to interference, and greater overall accuracy compared to earlier systems.

With these advancements, the new TrueTracker system in Precision-IQ is set to provide farmers with greater control, efficiency, and precision in their field operations.
