Major ag groups unite to advance sustainability across supply chain

The Sustainable Agriculture Summit is returning this year with a stronger focus on collaboration across the agriculture industry. After a successful inaugural event last year, which brought together more than 350 participants, the Summit continues to grow in importance.

The event is organized by Field to Market and the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy. This year, several key organizations have joined as hosts. These include the National Pork Board, the Stewardship Index for Specialty Crops, the U.S. Poultry and Egg Association, and the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Beef.

Their involvement highlights the importance of working together to improve sustainability across agriculture.

The Summit aims to bring together stakeholders from every part of the agriculture supply chain. This includes farmers, agribusinesses, manufacturers, retailers, and industry influencers. By working together, these groups can help protect natural resources while supporting economic growth and community well-being.

Organizers believe that collaboration is essential to address the challenges of sustainable agriculture. The event focuses on continuous improvement and encourages participants to share ideas and solutions. It also provides a platform to measure progress and create a more coordinated approach to sustainability.

This year’s Summit is expected to attract even more participants and expand its reach. The goal is to strengthen partnerships and build a network that supports innovation and long-term sustainability in agriculture.

The Summit will take place in November and offers an opportunity for stakeholders to connect, learn, and contribute to a more sustainable future. Early registration is encouraged, as attendees can save costs by registering before the deadline.

Industry leaders encourage everyone involved in agriculture to attend and be part of this important conversation.
