Precision Ag Leader CropScanAg Earns Top Honour

CropScanAg was awarded first place in the Ag Tech category at the Manitoba Ag Days in Brandon, Manitoba, on January 23, 2025. The award was accepted by Dean Scrivens, CropScanAg Technical Specialist for Western Canada, and Victoria Morris, Marketing Manager and USA Manager for CropScanAg.

The recognition highlights the company’s achievements in the agritech field and is the third major award received by the company in the last 12 months.

Earlier in 2024, CropScanAg earned the Australian Agritech Association’s Precision Agriculture Award in Melbourne on June 6. Later, the company received the ‘Innovation in Agronomics Award’ at the Ag in Motion Expo in Langham, Saskatchewan, from July 17-19, 2024. These accolades affirm CropScanAg’s leadership in precision agriculture.

CropScanAg’s flagship product, the CropScan 4000VT ISOBUS On Combine Grain Analyser, is a market leader in grain analysis. The system measures key components like Protein, Moisture, Oil, and Starch in grains and oilseeds during harvest. This technology allows farmers to optimize their harvest by providing reliable data for Variable Rate Nitrogen Fertilization applications, improving yield, reducing fertilizer use, and enhancing the quality of grains.

At the Manitoba Ag Days, CropScanAg stood out among competitors focused on sprayer efficiency, spray drones, and weed control automation. The judges were particularly impressed by CropScan’s novel approach to managing Nitrogen. An agronomist attending the event remarked, “I wish every farmer had the CropScan system on their combine. This would help agronomists advise farmers on fertilizer inputs, a critical aspect of their role.”

The success of CropScanAg is attributed to the hard work and dedication of the CropScan team, including Morris and Scrivens, as well as their efforts to make the CropScan system the go-to solution for improving crop yield and sustainability.
