On Jan. 7, Farms.com spoke with Brian Innes, vice president of public affairs with the Canola Council of Canada, about the ongoing situation with China.
China has blocked imports of canola seed from Canada since March 2019 and full access remains blocked.
“In practical terms, exports have been down between 50 and 75 per cent compared to normal exports to China,” he said.
