Agriculture and Agri-Food Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau appointed a third person to the Canadian Dairy Commission’s (CDC) board of directors.
Shikha Jain (pictured), CEO of Green Energy Trading Corporation, an organization supporting the dairy industry’s conversion of on-farm organic waste to renewable natural gas, will join the CDC as its commissioner for four years.
Her experience in the dairy sector includes seven years working at Dairy Farmers of Ontario in multiple roles.
