Advancing Horticulture with Controlled Environment Agriculture

As part of NC State University’s  Controlled Environment Agriculture Coalition and a third-year horticultural science doctoral student, Moein Moosavi is revolutionizing horticulture through the production of strawberries and hydroponic vegetables in Controlled Environment Agriculture systems, making a significant impact on both academia and industry.

The American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS) recently recognized Moosavi with the 2025 ASHS Outstanding Graduate Horticulture Student Award for his exceptional academic achievements, research contributions, leadership, and service.
