Applicants Sought for Butterfly Pollinator Kits

First- to third-grade educators in the state are invited to apply for butterfly pollinator kits, provided by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture and the North Dakota Ag in the Classroom Program. The kits will provide students with the opportunity to watch a live butterfly through each stage of its life.

“I encourage educators to take advantage of this opportunity to embed agriculture into their classrooms,” Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring said. “Teachers and students will explore the world of butterflies. Butterflies are one of the top pollinators and without them, our food supply would be much different.”
